Be a Hero to a Child who Desperately Needs Your Help!

PHP and the South East Consortium for Special Education invite you to attend their Surrogate Parent Training on March 29th, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Parents Helping Parents, Sobrato Center for Non-Profits in San Jose

School districts within the South East Consortium for Special Education are seeking willing, motivated, and passionate men and women to serve as surrogate parents to advocate for students with disabilities and to make special education decisions regarding FAPE. These children are often without parents, may be in the foster care system or are homeless, yet their need for someone to represent them in the special education process is vital to their future success.
